Dussehra Festival
Dussehra at Kullu commences on the tenth day of the rising moon i.e. on Vijaya Dashmi. Its started with the idol of Raghunathji, pulled from Dhalpur Maidan to another spot across the Maidan by big ropes and ended with the burning of Lanka.

Ragunath Temple:
Raghunathji is the principal deity of Kullu Valley. On the first day of Dussehra, the idol of Raghunathji is taken out in palanquin from its temple at Sultanpur to Dhalpur Maidan. This forms a huge procession. All the gods of the valley have to visit kullu on Dussehra in order to pay their homage to Raghunathji.

Vaishno Devi Temple: 
A small cave temple of Goddess Vaishno Devi. Other temples are Shiva, lord Rama & Krishna.

Bijli Mahadev Temple: 
From Akhara Bazaar, after crossing over bridge on right, arrive Tapu, Drive another 7 km. Upto Trambli. From here 5km. Long foot – path through dense forests leads to the top (9000 ft.) of the temple.
View of entire Kullu valley, Bhuntra Airport, Parvati valley and Kailash Parvat peak in front is an awe – inspiring.

Rafting: the Hotel Vaishali also provides Rafting and it is being done in between Mohal and Jiri 4 km. From the Hotel. Interested tourists may visit at site in between 8 a.m. to 9.a.m.
